From October 24th to the 27th, 2024, join us for the Sixth Annual 12°N, 61°W Grenada Film Festival (1261 Film Festival), where cinematic excellence meets Caribbean charm. This year’s theme, “1261 Mystique,” invites locals and visitors to explore the tapestry of storytelling, celebration, and intrigue. Whether you’re a Grenadian or flying in from abroad, something extraordinary awaits you.

The festivities begin with a pre-festival Grenadian Lime, setting the stage for four incredible days to follow. On October 24th, join us for the Opening Business Seminar, where thought-provoking panels and discussions with leading industry experts will explore the evolving landscape of filmmaking in Grenada, the Caribbean, and beyond. The focus will be on the production value, highlighting both its economic impact and cultural significance in tourism.
In honor of the achievements we've celebrated this year—from our journey to independence to our Olympic successes—we aim to continue this celebration with our Opening Gala Night. This event will highlight the festival and our foremost fundraising opportunity, blending elegance and a touch of mystique to honor our island’s rich history and bright future. The evening will also honor Grenadians who have significantly contributed to the industry. We’re thrilled to welcome British-Grenadian filmmakers, music artists, regional and local producers, and other international industry players from the U.S. and Canada.
