This collaboration is set to elevate the cinematic experience and access for attendees and provides a more intimate, community-driven environment, allowing for meaningful connections and collaborations.
This year’s 1261 Grenada Film Festival is set to bridge cultures with its diverse and thought-provoking selection of independent films featuring premieres from Grenada, the Caribbean, the Americas, Africa, and Europe—all making their debut in Grenada. The festival provides a vital platform for both local and international voices, often underrepresented, allowing audiences to connect with and relate to these unique stories. Attendees will also enjoy the rare opportunity to interact directly with filmmakers during select Q&A sessions at Movie Palace, enhancing the personal touch of the festival experience. Since these films will not be shown in Grenada again, this festival offers a unique, one-time chance to experience and appreciate these exceptional works.

The festival will begin on Thursday, October 24th, at 9:00 AM with a Business Seminar focusing on the economic impact of film production in Grenada. Later, at sunset, the celebration continues with our annual Gala, Awards, and Fundraising event, featuring a "Mystique" Masquerade theme for this year’s opening night.
Over the four-day event, attendees can look forward to engaging masterclasses, film screenings, workshops, and special events.
