On behalf of Mprojekts Creative Group, the producers of the annual 12°N, 61°W Grenada Film Festival, and our 1261FF team, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our filmmakers, sponsors, volunteers, participants, cheerleaders, and audience who laughed, celebrated, and braved the inclement weather with us during the 2022 Festival.
Overall, it was a fantastic festival, with 30 exceptional films and an incredibly supportive community of festival-goers, donors, and creatives. We are grateful for the opportunity to curate our first Grenadian-focused night spotlighting works from two Grenadian Female first-time Directors, Amanda John and Kayko Donald. Additionally, hosting international actresses Chioma Akpotha, LisaRaye Mc Coy; and industry guests iFactory and JustMedia.org, who were so generous with their time in sharing support and encouragement with our community.
Celebrating our culture and stories confidently as a community in-person after two years online was an exciting and empowering experience. We thank you for being there for us through the entire process.
