Mprojekts Creative Group Announces Partnership with US-based organisation, JustMedia.
Mprojekts Creative and JustMedia launches a Rural Community Impact Screening Initiative during the 4th edition of 12°N, 61°W Film Festival in Grenada .

GRENADA, ST. GEORGE, Sept. 23, 2022 — Mprojekts Creative Group, the producers of the annual 12°N, 61°W Film Festival, Grenada's notable creative and cinematographic event featuring a wide selection of movies from the Caribbean and African diaspora, music, and art, today announced its partnership with the New York based organization, JustMedia.
JustMedia is an open-access digital archive platform, dedicated to supporting advocacy efforts for systemic reform through the art of storytelling. JustMedia focuses on challenging the criminal legal system by organizing, amplifying, and sharing existing films and videos that tell various stories. This intentional act serves as a media literacy tool for the movement to end mass incarceration and achieve abolition.
The partnership will commence with the launch of the Rural Community Impact Screening Initiative, with support from The Institute for People's Enlightenment (IPE), Grenada's leading cultural and historical organization. This initiative is an expansion of the 1261 film festival's regularly curated program from October 26-30th, 2022.
