Director’s Bio: Jaida Salmon 

Jaida Salmon is a 24 year old Sheridan College Animation Graduate with a passion for all things related to art and animation. Growing up with a love for cartoons, film and media she always knew that someday she'd want to work in that field and create content to reach a wide variety of audiences. In the future she hopes to create a miniseries and work on feature animation. Aside from animation she wants to continue studies in art therapy, exploring how we can use art as a process of healing. 

Director Statement 

I want to create stories that young black girls and boys can find themselves in and relate to. The black experience is not a monolith - there are so many more stories to be told and I can't wait to be a part of that process!
