Empowering Tomorrow's Innovators: Youth Art and Tech Fest Debuts at the 5th Annual 12°N, 61°W Grenada Film Festival
St. George's, Grenada, September 17, 2023 – Mprojekts Creative Group is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural YOUTH ART AND TECH FEST, a groundbreaking event designed to ignite the talents of Grenada's children and youths during the 5th annual 12°N, 61°W Grenada Film Festival, themed "From Small Seeds to Big Dreams." The Youth Arts and Tech Fest is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Grenada Youth Center.
This debut event places children and youths at the forefront, offering an unforgettable experience featuring film screenings, storytelling, interactive tech experiences, gaming, and art-infused robotics. While it's designed primarily for our young participants, parents are welcome to join in and share this vibrant addition to the 2023 festival season, dedicated to celebrating and nurturing the artistic and tech talents of Grenada's next generation. The inclusion of the youth engagement aspect is tied to the passion of the Founder's vision to continue to develop the film industry in Grenada, and what better way than to start encouraging our youths to participate in this unconventional and game-changing method of art & technology being married into this fantastic event.
Meschida Philip, the festival's Managing Director, says, "We're excited to introduce the Youth Art and Tech segment this year, aiming to inspire and spotlight the talents of our next-gen creatives and innovators. It's a game-changer for Grenada's art and tech scene, forging our path to the future".
In addition to the captivating world of film and art, our event will be hosted and emceed by several outstanding youth Ambassadors, including Zion James and DJ Charles. Moreover, attendees can engage with community-based arts organizations and technology leaders, such as Caribbean Coding Academy, X-Trace Digital Solutions, and Arial Aerial Vision-Intl. This promises to be an unforgettable experience for all who participate!
