The Grenadian Luminary Awards, presented at the Gala, honor individuals and collectives for their exceptional contributions as artists and cultural workers in four categories:

  1. Community Impact through Media: Recognizing those who use film and television to address social issues, promote diversity, and create positive change within the Grenadian community.

  2. Artistic Excellence: Acknowledging outstanding creativity and technical skills in various filmmaking disciplines, including producers, directors, writers, editors, composers, and actors.

  3. Cultural Preservation and Global Impact: Celebrating individuals who preserve Grenadian culture and elevate Grenadian cinema to international recognition.

  4. Entrepreneurship and Industry Development (Errol Maitland): Nominating leaders who have played a pivotal role in advancing Grenada's film and television industry through entrepreneurship and innovation.
